Upkeep
Wash by hand with hot water and a soft sponge. Do not soak. Dry immediately after washing.
- Occasionally apply a very thin coat of vegetable oil to protect the seasoning and help prevent rust.
- Do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.
- The plate is oven-safe. Handle carefully, as the steel becomes very hot.
Like a cast-iron skillet, this plate will develop a natural patina that evolves with use.

I am a blacksmith, traditional toolmaker and ornamental ironworker. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the Middle Ages—its architecture, armour, tools and the many creations that have endured through the centuries. When I discovered that blacksmithing had been central to so many of these achievements, I came to understand the fundamental role it played in the development of societies. Without metalworking, there would have been no tools for building, no implements for farming, no hardware, weapons or structures capable of supporting the advancement of civilizations. This realization inspired me to follow this path and help preserve this traditional craft.
Today, each of my creations is shaped by a process in which function, aesthetics and durability come together. I pay particular attention to the quality of the materials, the proportions, the ergonomics and the precision of the workmanship. Whether I am creating a tool, an architectural element or a decorative piece, I strive to design objects in which every detail serves a purpose and where utility, beauty and longevity are held in balance.
Through my work, I aim to create objects that are strong, useful and durable. My goal is to make pieces that can accompany their owners for many years, age well and, ideally, be passed down rather than replaced.
