Sculpture
Saint-Jean-Port-Joli

Sculpture has always been part of my life. Barely 8-10 years old, I had only one desire in mind: to sculpt animals from the world's wildlife. Inspired by my father, the sculptor Noël Guay, I have worked in this environment that has fascinated me for more than 40 years. I am fortunate to work alongside him in our workshop, which is located in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.
By giving free rein to my creativity, I transform different types of wood to make authentic and sought-after pieces. My works are found all over the world, in various private and public collections. My father and I presented our work at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto and took part in the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli Sculpture Biennale a few times.
I am proud to be an artist in the heart of a village where art is omnipresent, where art has been a tradition since generations.
