The creation of teapots has sparked some of the most significant and stimulating challenges of my 45-year career at the potter’s wheel.
Each piece demands both technical mastery—achieving balance as the various components are integrated—and aesthetic precision, through the exploration of new shapes and the pursuit of harmony between form, decoration, and glaze.
Every teapot I craft is one of a kind, wheel-thrown in semi-stoneware and fired to 1200°C in one of my electric kilns.
