Description
Handcrafted shaving brush by Attila Hrubos, available in a variety of wood species. Each piece is unique or produced in very small batches, showcasing the natural beauty and character of the wood.

- Care: rinse after use and avoid leaving the brush soaking in water for extended periods.
The wood is carefully sealed and protected for long-lasting use in a wet environment.
Upkeep
The stabilized wood handle offers good resistance to moisture and splashes but should not be soaked or left standing in water. After each use, rinse the bristles thoroughly with lukewarm water, gently remove excess water without twisting or pulling them, then allow the shaving brush to air-dry, ideally hanging with the bristles facing downward. Avoid very hot water, harsh cleaners and closed storage while the brush is still damp.

As an emerging Hungarian artist recently established in Quebec, my arrival in this area was almost accidental. I discovered a deeply-rooted tradition of wood carving and became passionate about this material.
When I create objects I am aware of the responsibility that rests on my shoulders and the positive impact that I can have on the world. I work primarily with recovered wood, but also explore possibilities with all sorts of other materials. I aspire to prolong their lifespan and I love the idea of creating something beautiful with material that has been discarded. I prefer hand tools as they provide a unique character to my pieces.
Through my work, I wish to honour the creator's wisdom. Personally, I strive to become the best possible version of myself.
