Bernard Hamel
Sculptor
Saint-Roch-Des-Aulnaies
Sculptor who creates both interior and exterior works, Bernard Hamel also has a predilection for works of integration into a natural environment. Lover of the material, he particularly appreciates the amalgams, combining, for example, wood, plants and plexiglass.
If ideas take shape through drawing, it is all the same from the wide choice of surrounding objects and materials that the artist creates. The way he looks at these elements, at their interiority, gives birth to ideas which, in turn, will become creations.
Whether it is his artworks in bronze, wood or phragmite, Bernard Hamel will move you by the contrast between the fragility and the robustness of his works. Let yourself be transported!
