Description
Silver ring handmade in Sainte-Louise by the jeweler duo Fabibijou
- Jewel made by electrodeposition from a chinese elm leaf collected by the jewelers themselves
- Chinese elm is a fast-growing tree. In fact, it can reach half of its full height in just 5 years! Its form is graceful, and its foliage is generally abundant. Despite its magnificent flowers, it is the bark of the Chinese elm that is its most spectacular aspect: it exfoliates in irregular patches and eventually becomes variegated. Given its many aesthetic characteristics, Chinese elm is often grown as a bonsai.
- 20 mm wide
- .925 silver available in different finishes
Adjustable size
Fabi's rings have the particularity of being able to be adjusted to the desired size between 6 to 8.5. When adding your ring to cart, you will be prompted to select the size you would like our team to adjust to.
If you don't know your size, order our measurement gauge here!
You can also choose to make the adjustment yourself, since this is done by means of light pressure all around the ring. However, it is important to make small movements and to go gradually. In addition, the ring only needs to be adjusted once. Moving the size of it too often could create weakness in the money.

Sainte-Louise
Our creative work is built around an interest in the forms of nature. Having often had the desire to fix them in time, Denis Ampleman began research allowing him to discover this ancient technique called electrodeposition, which he adapted to fossilize various elements of nature. In collaboration with the artist Camille Villeneuve, they jointly developed a production of plant ornaments: original and unique works of art, which are fossilized and metallic fragments of nature. It is the perfect meeting between the theme and the treatment of the material.
Since 1995, the artist duo has created a common jewelry collection, under the name Fabibijou. For many years now, and even before the creation of our line of jewelry, our work in crafts has led us to take an interest in several materials and techniques, each with a distinctive creative potential. We therefore individually progressed and had different productions.
For eleven years, Camille Villeneuve worked in ceramic production. For his part, Denis Ampleman worked with glass, painting and sculpture. In addition, in order to perfect our knowledge, each of us has taken a course in art history and thus faced the process of creation.
