The techniques I have developed in visual arts over the years are very lively and intuitive. I seek through painting to represent subjects that fascinate me and which are otherwise very difficult to explain: the emotions of travel, of slowness, noise and silence, grandeur and power of the elements.
The landscapes of my native North are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. The wind, the heat and the cold, the waves and the foam, the untouched forest, the distant horizons and the constantly changing sky. I try to create the most vibrant colors and the most improbable movements, which is in some way for me the most accurate way of expressing the grandeur of nature.
Creation process
Lenième stands out with a unique technique: he incorporates unexpected products—often familiar, yet rarely linked to painting—to trigger spectacular reactions in the fresh acrylic. With instinctive gestures, he initiates the composition on the canvas, allowing the materials to interact, move, and sometimes even “explode.” From this alchemy of chance and control gradually emerge figurative landscapes, revealed through the artist’s keen eye and boundless creativity.
