Glass painting
Quebec
Jewelry making has been part of my life since I was little. Creative and self-taught, it was precisely in 1999 that I became an artisan and participated at my first trade shows. Over the years, I have tried various materials, including wood, acrylic, terracotta beads and glass blowtorch shaped beads. In any case, hand-painted miniature designs were always present and have somehow always been a part of my artistic practice.
Glass quickly became my preferred raw material among all those I tested. Painting behind it allows me to create infinite scenes where each of my mini works of art shines. Being more and more in a minimalist spirit, I take pleasure in representing subjects which will appeal to all ages and it is above all with the infinite possibilities of color that I especially allow my creativity.
Once painted, my jewelry is baked in the oven. This process is necessary as many times as there are layers of paint. This technique allows me to guarantee impressive durability to my creations. My jewelry are then mounted on various fashion accessories in hypoallergenic stainless steel for the greatest pleasure of lovers of simple, refined and colorful jewelry!
