Noël Guay

Since my childhood, I love to work with wood. At a very young age, I would create my own toys with my father’s tools. I learned the profession by myself, from observing other sculptors and practising day after day, year after year. Animal art has always been a passion. I’ve never thought of doing anything else with my life. My sculptures brought me to exhibit in Quebec, Canada, in the United States, in Europe, as well as in Australia. Many faithful collectors are interested in my work.

I have always taken to heart the influence of our beautiful village of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. I feel I am contributing by exhibiting my works everywhere and welcoming the public at my boutique workshop. I have the pleasure of sharing this workshop with my son, Mario, who is also a sculptor.
