Portrait of Caroline Dubois

The artist

Caroline Dubois

Concerned about creating a balance between utility and aesthetics, Caroline Dubois knows how to combine contemporary and artisanal aspect in her works. While she is indeed part of the millennial tradition of the profession of ceramist, she also likes to take up the challenge of bringing together opposing characters in her pieces, so as to create a tension that otherwise remains harmonious.

Wandering from her potery wheel to his shaping table via the molding workshop, the artist chooses her technique according to the project to be carried out. Her porcelains, through the play between color and texture, make you want to take them in our hands in order to test with our touch the softness that our eye perceives.
